PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
When an animal protection inspector is evaluating a situation involving animals, there is a need for an understanding of the requirements of different species. There is also a need to evaluate the behavioral characteristics, physical and mental wellbeing of the animals and the suitability of the environment in which they are found.
