PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Animal inspectors in this field are very specialised and need a wide range of disciplines. All of the animals are in captivity, many of them in small cages in a laboratory environment. There is a need to be persuasive in the company of highly qualified people, very often in a meeting environment. There is a need to see through invalid motivations and to search for ways to reduce, refine and replace experiments on animals.
