PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Tree workers need to be familiar with the various types of trees and the families to which they belong. Tree knowledge required includes: Their properties, as well as the conditions under which they thrive and adapt, as well as their maintenance and upkeep.
The need to know and understand the characteristics of alien and threatened species is also an important factor for tree workers. This Unit Standard provides basic knowledge required by tree workers. Learners credited with this unit standard are able to: |
