PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
A learner will be able to utilise Pilot Working when normal train control systems are suspended due to degraded mode and will be able to conform to related train working rules in a specific railway environment and contribute to safe movement on rail. They will be able to apply the pilot working method to control the safe movement on single and double rail lines.
