PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This unit standard is intended for people who wish to participate as judges in the sport of Acrobatic Gymnastics. This unit standard will provide learners with competencies required to judge Acrobatic Gymnastics competition(s) in a consistent, fair and impartial manner. The learner will be capable of combining a range of self-discipline and life long observation skills with a working knowledge of the techniques of the sport, and integrate these within the context of competitions.

The protocol of club, Regional and Provincial participation is explained as it is set out in club, Provincial and National competitions. |

The gymnast's performance on the Acrobatic Gymnastics equipment is evaluated using a simulation. |

Deviations from the learned skill is identified and described in order to make deductions. |

Deductions are calculated on judges score sheet. |
