PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
This Unit Standard is for people who wish to develop and apply riding proficiency on a trained equine in order to develop confidence and ride in a competent manner according to accepted international standards.
Learners credited with this unit standard are able to: understand the importance of and to be working towards an independent seat. They will also be capable of controlling an equine on the road and in the country side. Learner accredited with this Unit Standard will be capable of: > Range: Paces are limited to walk trot, and canter. > Range: Obstacles are limited to ones up to 60 cm in height and/or width. |
