A grade is assigned to each selected gemstone based on the assembled information and compared to internationally recognised grading criteria. |

The grade is recorded and the gemstone is referred for a second opinion according to workplace specific requirements. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 |
The grading by the second opinion is compared to the original grading and if different, workplace specific procedures are applied to resolve the difference of opinion until a grading is agreed upon. |
