ASSESSMENT CRITERION 1 |
1. Applications for offshore investments are checked to ensure that they do not exceed the limit prescribed by the South African Reserve Bank. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 |
2. A form (F1423) to invest offshore is checked for correct completion and the original form then submitted to the Reserve Bank. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 |
3. A copy of the form to invest offshore is retained for inspection purposes, in terms of exchange control rulings. |
ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 |
4. An original tax-clearance certificate is taken in, checked for validity and authenticity and that the amount on the form to invest offshore does not exceed the amount authorised on the tax clearance certificate. |

5. The original tax-clearance certificate is retained for inspection purposes, and the copy handed to the customer, in terms of exchange control rulings. |

1. A form to export goods for sale is checked for correct completion and attested according to exchange control rulings. The original is given to the customer and the copy is retained by the authorised dealer. |

2. The expected payment date is diarised to monitor that the proceeds are received within the specified time, in terms of exchange control rulings & or regulations or SARB authority. |

3. A follow up procedure is conducted in accordance with SARB and exchange control rules & regulations |

4. The payment is marked off against the form to export goods (F178) in accordance with exchange control rulings. |

5. The commission for services provided for export of goods are collected from the customer in terms of company specific requirements. |

UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS |
1. Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.
2. Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard or assessing this unit standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant ETQA. 3. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures. Therefore anyone wishing to be assessed against this unit standard may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency, assessor or provider institution which is accredited by the relevant ETQA. |
UNIT STANDARD ESSENTIAL EMBEDDED KNOWLEDGE |
