PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is intended for people who process cards for fleet management services. A person credited with this unit standard will be able to process new card orders, process lost, stolen, cancelled an replacement cards, update customer records and renew expired cards.

2. The new details are checked for correctness as per company specific requirements, including but not limited to the range.

Cost centres, vehicle description, client code, colour of vehicle.
 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
1. The customers' request is checked for authenticity as per company specific requirements. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
3. The data is captured correctly as per the system requirements. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 4 
4. The new card is received and dispatched according to customers' request and company specific requirements. 

SPECIFIC OUTCOME 2 
Process Lost or Stolen, Cancelled and Replacement Cards.

1. The customers' request is checked and verified in accordance with company specific risk evaluation procedures.

2. The card status is changed correctly and a new card ordered according to customers' request.

3. The lost or stolen notification is forwarded to the relevant department/person according to company specific requirements.

1. The customers' request to change details is checked and verified in accordance with company specific requirements.

2. The data is captured correctly and in accordance with the customers' instructions.

3. The vehicle history is transferred to a new client code or linked to a new vehicle registration, correctly.

1. Renewal cards are sorted and checked for validity according to company's current records.

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 2 
2. Valid cards are dispatched according to customers' requirements. 

ASSESSMENT CRITERION 3 
3. Invalid cards are destroyed according to company specific requirements. 


UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS 
1. Anyone assessing a learner against this unit standard must be registered as an assessor with the relevant ETQA.

2. Any institution offering learning that will enable achievement of this unit standard or assessing this unit standard must be accredited as a provider with the relevant ETQA.

3. Moderation of assessment will be overseen by the relevant ETQA according to the moderation guidelines in the relevant qualification and the agreed ETQA procedures.

Therefore anyone wishing to be assessed against this unit standard may apply to be assessed by any assessment agency, assessor or provider institution which is accredited by the relevant ETQA.

To uses technology effectively when using the computer system to capture data; cancel and re-issue cards; update customer records.
