PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This is a core unit towards the qualification National Certificate in Retail/Wholesale Sales and Service. It is an optional unit to provide flexibility of choice in the construction of a qualification that is relevant to the differing needs across the sector. It also supports learner progression into the more sophisticated areas of the retail/wholesale sector
