| PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION |
| The Doctorate Programme in Industrial Psychology has as its purpose the development of original thinking and the creation of new knowledge. Indepth knowledge at an advanced level of concepts and theories and the ability to contribute to these. |

Demonstrate an ability to present lectures at higher levels of the degree of Industrial Psychology 5. Ability to mentor and guide research students through the research process 6. Learners should be able to analyse, reformat and evaluate a range of information and should be able to formulate appropriate responses to resolve both concrete and abstract problems Integrated assessment procedures to ensure that the purpose of the qualification is achieved: Candidates will be expected to defend their research proposals to a panel of Examiners.
