Correctly using laboratory apparatus and equipment according to the principles of Good Laboratory Practice. 

LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
To enter a learning programme for this unit standard or to be assessed against this unit standard, the learner is assumed to have:
Literacy and communications NQF 1.
Numeracy NQF 1.
Basic understanding of sugar processing.
Basic knowledge of quality assurance systems.
An understanding of general safety in the workplace at NQF 1 or equivalent 

UNIT STANDARD RANGE
