PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
The unit standard is aimed at individuals who are required to set up and operate a camping site in the outdoors in an environmentally safe manner.
The setting up of a camping site is specifically associated with a wide range of adventure and recreation intervention requirements and activities and should not be confused with the preparation for camping within the confines of a professionally run holiday camping environment.
