PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard will enhance the learner's understanding of ethical practice in their business sector. Learners will be able to adhere to the code of ethics applicable in their sector.

The qualifying learner is capable of:
  • Describing the code of conduct and ethical issues.
  • Adhering to a code of conduct applicable to their sector.
  • Identifying and understanding the ethical issues in the organisation. 

  • LEARNING ASSUMED TO BE IN PLACE AND RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING 
    Learners accessing this qualification will have demonstrated competency in:
  • Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Communication at NQF Level 2 or equivalent. 

  • UNIT STANDARD RANGE

    In order to contribute to the full personal development of each learner and the social and economic development of society at large, it must be the intention underlying any programme of learning to make an individual aware of the importance of: being culturally and aesthetically sensitive across a range of social contexts when dealing with organisation ethics.
