PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD 
This unit standard is for anyone who has to apply introductory principles of chemistry and physics in the world of work.

The qualifying learner is capable of demonstrating an understanding of:
  • The nature of matter.
  • The nature of water.
  • Temperature, energy and heat.
  • Introductory principles of physics.

    This unit standard will contribute to the full development of the learner within the manufacturing environment by providing recognition, further mobility and transportability within the field of manufacturing and assembly.   • UNIT STANDARD ACCREDITATION AND MODERATION OPTIONS
