PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD |
Learners who are assessed as competent against this unit standard will be able to demonstrate an understanding of surveying techniques and principles as used in the construction industry. They will be able to use a measuring tape, spirit level and theodolite to set out construction work areas. These competencies complement the other core supervisory competencies and contribute to the development of a professional community of Civil Engineering Construction Supervisors.
