Supervision is an educational process in which a Supervising-pastor or group and a learner-pastor agree to organise a relationship in a given setting in such a way as to effect changes in the learner as he/ she does the work of ministry. Specific range statements are provided in the body of the unit standard where they apply to particular specific outcomes or assessment criteria. |

Supervision is done at least but not exclusively through observation by the Supervisor or Supervising committee and feedback or evaluation, as well as reports completed by the learner and other parties who observe or experience ministry from the learner, as well as case studies, incident reports, verbatim reports, process notes and electronic means. |

Reflection and theological reflection are part of the discussion in every Supervision meeting. |
